Arrive 9:45am on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at the Dune Climb parking area Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore. (The dune climb is ~5 miles north of the Philip A Hart Visitor Center- 9922 W Front, Empire MI 49630). National Parks Pass required to park your vehicle- passes attainable from the visitor center. With bikes set up to ride at 10am, we will pause briefly to meet a park leader who will share highlights and answer questions about the dunes and the bike trail. 3 ride options - from longest/medium and shortest- will be described by fellow Newcomers familiar with the trail sections. You can select your ride group at departure. All rides lead to lunch at Cherry Public House (on the grounds of Cherry Republic-

If you are adding others to your registration, look carefully at the choice boxes and select your path -- to register yourself only, other member, or a non-member guest. One non-member guest per rider.
In addition to the National Park Pass, remember to pack up the bike helmets, put air in the tires and make sure your gears are in good working order before leaving your the house. It is here that you can pick up a map to find your way to the Dune Climb parking area, talk with staff for additional help, ue the facilities and obtain a permit to use the park if you do to own an annual pass.
